The Term Ahead!

This term in Year One, we have started to explore Fairytales. Students will learn how to write a narrative. This will assist them to write their own fairytale. I look forward to reading what amazing adventures theirs characters undertake.

In Maths, we have began our inquiry investigation into positional language.  We have been learning how to direct someone (or something) from point A to point B.  We will also continue to explore other concepts related to number sense.

In Religion, we are learning about Mary and how she is honoured both in the past and today.

In Health, students will share a positive trait about themselves and their peers.  Through this unit I also hope to develop a positive sense of self and investigate friendships within our class and ways to communicate with one another.
